Yogi Muesli

Total Time: 10 hrs 7 mins Preparation Time: 7 mins Cook Time: 10 hrs

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup rye flakes
  • 1 cup almonds
  • 3/4-1 cup raisins (i mix thompson's and golden raisins)
  • 1 cup dried dates, chopped
  • 1/2 cup walnut pieces
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 4 cups unsweetened apple juice (not from concentrate) or 4 cups apple cider

Recipe

  • 1 combine all ingredients except apple juice in a bowl and mix well.
  • 2 store this in an airtight container and scoop some out the night before you want it.
  • 3 for each serving use: heaped 1/2 cup dry muesli and 1/3 cup juice.
  • 4 mix in a container with a lid and refrigerate overnight.
  • 5 enjoy in the morning- preferably to complement a yoga practice (yoga nut here) it just may help you become enlightened :-).
