Sweet 'n Crunchy Raisin Nut Granola

Ingredients
- 2/3 cup whole almond
- 2/3 cup pecans
- 1/3 cup roasted, shelled unsalted sunflower seeds (optional)
- 3 cups dry rolled oats
- 1 cup wheat germ
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 1/2 cups golden raisins
Recipe
- 1 preheat the oven to 275 f.
- 2 in a large bowl, toss the almonds, pecans, oats, what germ, and cinnamon.
- 3 set aside.
- 4 in a small saucepan, combine the honey, molasses, maple syrup, and vegetable oil.
- 5 warm over low heat until bubbles/foams and turns light brown.
- 6 add the mixture to the nuts and grains and toss throroughly.
- 7 spread the granola on a large, rimmed baking sheet and bake for about 40 minutes, stirring throroughly every 10 minutes, until the nuts and grains are nicely toasted.
- 8 let the granola cool and stir in the raisins.
- 9 once thoroughly cooled, store the granola in an airtight container for up to a month.
