Three Herb Pesto With Walnuts

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 cup fresh basil
  • 1/2 cup fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • 1/2 cup fresh dill
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons grated romano cheese
  • 1/2 cup pasta cooking liquid
  • 1 lb cooked spaghetti, warm

Recipe

  • 1 finely chop the herbs, walnuts and garlic in a food processor.
  • 2 with motor running, gradually add the olive oil. add the cheese.
  • 3 remove 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking liquid before draining the pasta.
  • 4 toss hot pasta with the sauce and reserved liquid. serve.
