Tortellini In Mushroom Sauce

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 400 g mushrooms (plain or mix of different types)
  • 200 g cream
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/4 kg tortellini
  • salt
  • 100 ml olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Recipe

  • 1 heat the olive oil in a frying-pan to medium heat.
  • 2 add the garlic and sautee for 1 minute or until gold-brown.
  • 3 add the mushroom and leave at medium fire for 20 minutes.
  • 4 add salt and pepper to taste.
  • 5 reserve 1/4 of the mixture and process the rest along with the cream.
  • 6 if it gets too thick, add some milk.
  • 7 while the mushrooms are being cooked, boil water with a drop of olive oil and salt.
  • 8 boil tortellini according to package directions.
  • 9 dry the tortellini and add butter.
  • 10 just before serve, heat the sauce, mix with the tortellini, and add some of the reserved mushrooms on top.
