- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup oats
- brown sugar
- milk, to serve
Recipe
- 1 combine water and oats in medium saucepan over a medium heat. cook, stirring about 5 minutes or until porridge is thick and creamy.
- 2 place in bowl.
- 3 add a bit of milk so it goes around the edges and covers slightly.
- 4 sprinkle with brown sugar (the more the better).
- 5 place the brown sugar on table and let kids add if you trust them.
- 6 if you want a creamier porridge make with milk instead of water.
