Wild Rice Pilaf With Cashews

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup long grain and wild rice blend
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped cashews

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter in a saucepan and cook onion until tender, add rice and stir.
  • 2 cover with chicken broth and sprinkle with salt. cover and simmer for 30 - 40 minutes or until all liquid is absorbed.
  • 3 sprinkle with cashews just before serving.
