Ingredients

- 1 large spanish onion, cut in half (about 1/4 pound)
- 1 large red bell pepper (about 7 ounces)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 18 sun-dried tomatoes (not packed in oil)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar or 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 2 teaspoons dijon-style mustard
- 1 teaspoon fennel seed
Recipe
- 1 preheat broiler.
- 2 line baking sheet with heavy duty foil.
- 3 arrange onion cut side down, the bell pepper, and the garlic cloves and broil 3 inches from heat source, turning bell pepper frequently, until all vegetables are charred.
