Tequila Fried Rice

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tablespoons tequila
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped

Recipe

  • 1 heat oil in a large skillet.
  • 2 saute the onions and garlic until just golden, about 7 minute.
  • 3 add the tequila and lime juice.
  • 4 increase the heat to high.
  • 5 add the rice.
  • 6 stir the rice frequently to coat the rice with oil.
  • 7 fry until rice is golden brown and all of the grains are coated, about 5 minute.
  • 8 stir in the parsley.
