Treasured Tuna Pasta Salad

Total Time: 21 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 6 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1 lb rotini pasta (16 oz.)
  • 1 (2 ounce) jar pimientos, diced
  • 1 bunch green onion, chopped (5-6)
  • 1 (12 ounce) can light chunk tuna in water, drained
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped fine
  • 8 dill pickle slices, chopped
  • 1 1/4 cups hellmanns mayonnaise (or to liking)
  • 1/2 teaspoon accent seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh coarse ground black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 cook the pasta in boiling water; al-dente. drain and rinse with cold water. let the pasta cool while you prepare the rest of the salad.
  • 2 mix the pimentos, onions, tuna, celery, and dill pickles together in a medium-sized bowl. add the cooled pasta.
  • 3 mix the real mayonnaise and seasonings in a seperate bowl. pour the mayo over the salad and stir the salad well.
  • 4 chill until ready to serve.
