Treasured Tuna Pasta Salad

Ingredients

- 1 lb rotini pasta (16 oz.)
- 1 (2 ounce) jar pimientos, diced
- 1 bunch green onion, chopped (5-6)
- 1 (12 ounce) can light chunk tuna in water, drained
- 3 stalks celery, chopped fine
- 8 dill pickle slices, chopped
- 1 1/4 cups hellmanns mayonnaise (or to liking)
- 1/2 teaspoon accent seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh coarse ground black pepper
Recipe
- 1 cook the pasta in boiling water; al-dente. drain and rinse with cold water. let the pasta cool while you prepare the rest of the salad.
- 2 mix the pimentos, onions, tuna, celery, and dill pickles together in a medium-sized bowl. add the cooled pasta.
- 3 mix the real mayonnaise and seasonings in a seperate bowl. pour the mayo over the salad and stir the salad well.
- 4 chill until ready to serve.
