Virginia's Easy Lasagne

Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 (32 ounce) jar thick spaghetti sauce
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese
- 12 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 8 ounces uncooked lasagna noodles
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2 brown beef in 3 quart saucepan; drain, and add sauce and water; simmer about 10 minutes.
- 3 combine remaining ingredients, except lasagne, for filling.
- 4 pour about 1 cup sauce in bottom of 9x13 pan.
- 5 layer 3 uncooked lasagne noodles on top of sauce; top with about 1 1/2 cups sauce, and 1/2 of cheese filling.
- 6 repeat layers of noodles, sauce, and filling.
- 7 top with a layer of noodles and remaining sauce.
- 8 cover with foil and bake for 55-60 minutes.
- 9 remove foil; bake another 10 minutes.
- 10 allow to stand for 10 minutes, to make cutting easier.
