Virginia's Easy & Mild Spaghetti Sauce

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 5
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of tomato soup
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon tabasco sauce
  • 2 -3 cups tomato juice, for thickening

Recipe

  • 1 in large skillet, brown the beef and onions over low heat. drain.
  • 2 stir in salt & pepper.
  • 3 stir in remaining ingredients.
  • 4 simmer over low heat 15 minutes.
  • 5 may serve over cooked angelhair or other pasta (1# package is perfect).
