Vodka Penne

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 teaspoons of minced garlic
  • 1/4 lb prosciutto (italian ham)
  • 1 (14 ounce) can chicken broth
  • 1 (1 1/3 ounce) package knorr parma rosa sauce mix
  • 1 1/2 cups light cream
  • 5 -6 plum tomatoes (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup vodka
  • parsley
  • parmesan cheese
  • black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 sauté butter, garlic, prosciutto, and some parsley on low/med until ham is a little browned.
  • 2 add vodka, let it cook off for a couple seconds, and add chicken broth. bring to a boil, stir in the parma rosa packet, mix in the cream, add parmesan cheese to taste.
  • 3 five minutes before you serve, throw the tomatoes in and top with black pepper.
  • 4 serve over penne pasta.
