Thick And Creamy Macaroni And Cheese

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces shell macaroni
  • 1 cup processed cheese
  • 1/2 cup colby cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 boil about 7 cups of water in saucepan.
  • 2 when water is boiling, add macaroni. cook until al dente (about 7 or 8 minutes).
  • 3 remove from burner and strain out access water. turn burner to lowest setting.
  • 4 melt butter and mix into macaroni with milk.
  • 5 *replace macaroni on burner only after you've added milk and butter (otherwise you'll burn some of your macaroni).
  • 6 put both cheeses through a food processor if you have one. it's ok to put them in together. if you don't have a food processor, grate the cheese. if you don't have a grater, get to cutting :).
  • 7 mix cheese into macaroni and stir until it's melted.
  • 8 add salt and pepper.
