Tortellini In Tomato & Anchovy Cream

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 (14 ounce) can italian plum tomatoes, cut
  • 2 teaspoons anchovy paste
  • 1 lb cheese-filled tortellini

Recipe

  • 1 heat cream in medium saucepan, over medium heat until reduced to 1 cup.
  • 2 in another saucepan heat tomatoes, stir and mash tomatoes until liquid cooks off.
  • 3 stir in anchovy paste to tomatoes.
  • 4 slowly add cream to tomato mixture.
  • 5 season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • 6 cook tortellini using package directions.
  • 7 serve sauce over pasta.
