Toasted Orzo With Chives

Total Time: 18 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 8 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 cups orzo pasta
  • 1/2 cup chives (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon lemon rind (zest)

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
  • 2 place orzo on a parchment paper lined sheet pan.
  • 3 bake for 8 minutes or until slightly browned.
  • 4 bring a large pot of water to a boil.
  • 5 add orzo and cook for 8 minutes or until tender.
  • 6 drain well.
  • 7 season orzo with salt and pepper to taste & stir in chives, oil & lemon zest.
  • 8 enjoy.
