Toasted Orzo With Chives

Ingredients

- 2 cups orzo pasta
- 1/2 cup chives (chopped)
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon lemon rind (zest)
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
- 2 place orzo on a parchment paper lined sheet pan.
- 3 bake for 8 minutes or until slightly browned.
- 4 bring a large pot of water to a boil.
- 5 add orzo and cook for 8 minutes or until tender.
- 6 drain well.
- 7 season orzo with salt and pepper to taste & stir in chives, oil & lemon zest.
- 8 enjoy.
