Tahini Rotini

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 (14 ounce) can chickpeas
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 (10 ounce) can vegetable broth, heated
  • 500 g rotini pasta
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons roasted sesame seeds

Recipe

  • 1 in a food processor, combine garlic, chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, soy sauce, and cayenne and process until smooth. stir in broth and keep warm.
  • 2 cook rotini according to package directions. add broccoli during last 5 minutes of cooking.
  • 3 drain pasta and broccoli. toss with sauce, sprinkle with sesame seeds.
