Tahini Rotini

Ingredients

- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 (14 ounce) can chickpeas
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne
- 1 (10 ounce) can vegetable broth, heated
- 500 g rotini pasta
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons roasted sesame seeds
Recipe
- 1 in a food processor, combine garlic, chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, soy sauce, and cayenne and process until smooth. stir in broth and keep warm.
- 2 cook rotini according to package directions. add broccoli during last 5 minutes of cooking.
- 3 drain pasta and broccoli. toss with sauce, sprinkle with sesame seeds.
