Tomato And Parmesan Rice With Basil

Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 cup long grain rice
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes, drained
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
Recipe
- 1 in a medium saucepan, combine water, rice, and kosher salt, and bring to a boil.
- 2 stir once, reduce heat to low, cover and simmer until water is absorbed and the rice is tender, 18 minutes.
