Wholesome Granola Bar

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1 1/2 cups low-fat granola
  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/3 cup slivered almonds
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Recipe

  • 1 butter or spray 8x8-inch baking pan.
  • 2 preheat oven to 350°f.
  • 3 combine granola, oatmeal, cranberries, raisins, flour, almonds, and cinnamon in large mixing bowl.
  • 4 in smaller bowl, lightly beat egg whites. stir in honey, brown sugar, and oil.
  • 5 stir in honey mixture into dry ingredients until all coated.
  • 6 press evenly into pan.
  • 7 bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • 8 let cool fully then cut into bars.
