Tuna And Parsley Pesto Sauce

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 cup fresh parsley, washed and dried
  • 1 cup fresh basil, washed, dried
  • 3 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts
  • salt and pepper
  • 6 1/2 ounces canned tuna
  • 1 lb pasta, cooked and drained

Recipe

  • 1 finely chop the parslic and garlic in a food processor.
  • 2 add the salt and pine nuts and process until finely chopped.
  • 3 with the motor running, add the oil.
  • 4 stir in the parmesan cheese.
  • 5 toss with tuna, 1/4 cup of the pasta cooking water and pasta.
