Tuna And Rice Supper Pie

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 1 (7 ounce) can tuna, drained
  • 1 cup milk, scalded
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped chives
  • 1 tomato, sliced

Recipe

  • 1 beat 1 egg and combine with rice. using back of spoon, press rice mixture to bottom of 9 inch pie plate. spread 1/2 of cheese and then 1/2 of tuna over rice. repeat layers.
  • 2 combine 2 eggs, milk, salt, pepper and chives. pour over tuna. bake in preheated oven at 400 f for 20 minutes.
  • 3 arrange slices of tomato over pie and bake for 5 minutes.
