Yellow Coconut Rice (tanzania)

Ingredients

- 2 cups coconut milk
- 3 cups milk
- 2 cups rice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom (optional)
- 2 tablespoons butter
Recipe
- 1 in saucepan add coconut milk, and milk. bring to boil.
- 2 add rice, salt, turmeric, cinnamon, cloves, and cardamom (if using).
- 3 cover and cook until liquid is absorbed, about 20 minutes.
- 4 add 2 tablespoons butter.
- 5 serve.
