Shells With Fresh Tomato Sauce

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 5 tomatoes, chopped
  • 3/4 cup dry wine
  • 1/2 bunch fresh basil, finely chopped
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh marjoram
  • salt and pepper
  • 12 ounces pasta shells, cooked, warm
  • 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese

Recipe

  • 1 sauté onions and garlic in oil until soft.
  • 2 add tomatoes, wine and basil. cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  • 3 add mushrooms, marjoram, salt and pepper; cook 5 more minutes.
  • 4 spoon sauce over pasta and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
