Shells With Fresh Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 5 tomatoes, chopped
- 3/4 cup dry wine
- 1/2 bunch fresh basil, finely chopped
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh marjoram
- salt and pepper
- 12 ounces pasta shells, cooked, warm
- 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
Recipe
- 1 sauté onions and garlic in oil until soft.
- 2 add tomatoes, wine and basil. cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
- 3 add mushrooms, marjoram, salt and pepper; cook 5 more minutes.
- 4 spoon sauce over pasta and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
