Ukrainian Cornmeal Dressing (nachynka) For 100 People

Ingredients

  • Servings: 100
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 lb butter
  • 6 cups cornmeal
  • 6 quarts milk
  • 4 cups cream
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons pepper
  • 24 eggs
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder

Recipe

  • 1 sauté onions in butter.
  • 2 add cornmeal and fry for a little longer.
  • 3 combine milk, cream, sugar, salt, and pepper.
