Whole Wheat Bread

Total Time: 2 hrs 55 mins Preparation Time: 2 hrs 30 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 cups warm water
  • 2 tablespoons yeast
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 2/3 cup honey
  • 2/3 cup oil
  • 11 -13 cups wheat flour

Recipe

  • 1 proof the yeast with water and honey for 5 minutes, then add salt, oil and 7 cups of the flour. after is has been mixed well, add 3 more cups of flour and mix again. allow to rest for 5 minutes. add remaining flour just until it pulls away from the bowl (it should still be quite moist).
  • 2 allow to rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size. knead again for about 5 minutes. form dough into 4 bread loaves and put in pans. allow to rise again for 1 hour. bake in a preheated oven of 350 degree for 25 - 30 minutes.
