Yummy Good Spicy Rice

Total Time: 28 mins Preparation Time: 8 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 boneless chicken thighs
  • 7 tablespoons butter
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 tablespoons green peppers, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons oregano
  • 1/8 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 3/4 cups rice, uncooked
  • 4 cups water
  • 5 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can stewed tomatoes

Recipe

  • 1 sauté the chicken, onion and green pepper all together in the butter in a 4 quart saucepan a few minutes. don't brown.
  • 2 add the rest.
  • 3 cover and simmer 20 minutes or until rice is done. let it set 5 minutes before eating.
