The Creamiest Macaroni And Cheese!!!!- Luby's Copycat

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 5
  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 -2 1/2 cups milk
  • 8 ounces velveeta cheese
  • 10 ounces elbow macaroni
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter is a sauce pan over medium heat.
  • 2 add flour and stir creating a roux.
  • 3 whisk in milk slowly.
  • 4 whisk sauce untill thick and smooth.
  • 5 add velveeta in small chunks.
  • 6 mix untill all the cheese is melted.
  • 7 boil macaroni in slightly salted water.
  • 8 add cheese sauce to cooked macaroni.
  • 9 add salt and pepper to taste.
  • 10 bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minute.
  • 11 * this recipe does not have to be baked. you can eat it right out of the pot. *.
