The Domestic Goddess' Granola

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 20
  • 450 g rolled oats
  • 120 g sunflower seeds
  • 120 g sesame seeds
  • 175 ml apple juice
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 120 g golden syrup
  • 4 tablespoons clear honey
  • 100 g light brown sugar
  • 250 g whole almonds
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 300 g raisins

Recipe

  • 1 mix everything (except raisins) together very well in a large mixing bowl. i use a spatula as this mixture just sticks to your hands.
  • 2 spread this mixture on two baking trays and bake at gas mark 3 / 170c for 40-60mins. turn the mixture over half way baking to make sure that it is evenly golden and no one part gets to much of a toasting.
  • 3 once baked allow to cool and mix together with the raisins. store in a airtight container.
