Whole Wheat Basil Pasta

Ingredients

- 1 (13 1/4 ounce) package whole wheat penne
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 -3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons dried basil
- salt
- 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
Recipe
- 1 cook pasta according to package directions.
- 2 meanwhile, saute onion in the olive oil, along with the dried basil. saute over medium heat and stir frequently so the basil does not burn.
- 3 cook until onions are tender and translucent.
- 4 add salt to taste.
- 5 when pasta is done, drain and add onion basil mixture.
- 6 add cheese and toss to coat.
- 7 serve warm.
- 8 add salt to taste if needed.
