Tuna Casserole

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 1 (11 ounce) can baby peas
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tuna
  • 1 (10 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 0.5 (8 ounce) package egg noodles, cooked
  • 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
  • 36 ritz crackers, crushed (1 sleeve)
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 saute mushrooms in butter, set aside.
  • 2 cook noodles and drain.
  • 3 mix together noodles, tuna, soup, sour cream and mushrooms in a large bowl.
  • 4 fold in peas so they don't get smushed.
  • 5 place mixture in a casserole.
  • 6 melt stick of butter and mix with ritz cracker crumbs.
  • 7 top casserole with cracker mixture.
  • 8 bake at 375 for about 30 minutes, until crumbs are toasty looking and casserole is bubbly.
