Tortellini Marinara

Ingredients

- 1 (9 ounce) package refrigerated cheese tortellini
- 1 lb bulk italian sausage
- 1 (15 ounce) package refrigerated marinara sauce
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced italian tomatoes, undrained
- 1/2 lb sliced fresh mushrooms
- 4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
Recipe
- 1 cook tortellini according to package directions.
- 2 meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until no longer pink; drain.
- 3 stir in marinara sauce, tomatoes and mushrooms.
- 4 bring to a boil.
- 5 reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5 minutes or until mushrooms are tender.
- 6 drain tortellini; stir into skillet.
- 7 sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
- 8 remove from the heat; cover and let stand for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
